“Voice Feminization” is a project for trans women that has held two successful recruitment rounds and has been conducted in two formats—online and in person.
Resistance became the first trans* organization in Ukraine to offer trans women the opportunity to undergo voice feminization treatment free of charge.
As part of the project, a vocal specialist conducted 12 individual and 6 group sessions for 14 trans women. As a result of the program, 50% of the participants were able to fully feminize their voices.
This project was implemented with the support of Gender Stream in collaboration with the Center for Disaster Philanthropy.
