The NGO “Resistance” has launched PEREHID.HUB—Ukraine’s first unified online information platform that organizes knowledge about transgender people and the transition process.
Information about resettlement, health, documents, and rights is often scattered across various resources; it may be outdated or fail to take the Ukrainian context into account. We created PEREHID.HUB as a single point of access to verified and easy-to-understand information in Ukrainian.
The platform’s materials are based on the principles of evidence-based medicine, current international guidelines, and applicable Ukrainian law. We will regularly review and update them in accordance with changes in legislation, medical guidelines, and the community’s needs.
On PEREHID.HUB, you’ll find informational resources and step-by-step guides on medical and legal transition, health, documents, rights, coming out, relationships, mental well-being, sexual health, and other issues that trans people may face.
Specific sections of the platform help users find available psychological, legal, humanitarian, and other forms of assistance, learn about current events and news, and read real stories from people in the community.
PEREHID.HUB is designed so that no prior knowledge is required. Instead of having to search for information on their own across dozens of sources, users can start with their own situation and gradually find the materials they need and the next steps to take.
The platform will continue to grow: we’ll be adding new articles, guides, ways to get help, and other useful resources. There’s also a feedback form on the website where you can share your thoughts and suggestions for improving the site.
PEREHID.HUB is now accessible online.
The project was implemented by the NGO “Resistance” with support from CISU—Civil Society in Development and LGBT+ Danmark. The website was developed by web designer Lev Terekhov.
